Kanitted was born out of our love of needle and thread and the desire to stitch things which are simple, bold, sassy, and geeky .
This shop isn't just a business - it's a creative partnership. We live to create art that we can share with others in the form of handknits, cross stitches, and patterns--it's amazing what you can accomplish from your kitchen table.

About Me
I live, love, and create full-time in Oregon, where I also wear the hat of customer service representative at Firebrand Glass, my husband's glass blowing business. I'm married to the love-of-my-life, Adam and we have a handsome, rambunctious little boy who is now two-and-a-half.
Some tidbits about me:
1. I wanted to be a comic-strip artist when I grew up.
2. I love to bake sweet treats for my guys.
3. I don't like making the bed and folding fitted sheets makes me grumpy.
4. Adam's kisses are the Energizer batteries to my bunny.
5. I still don't like the dark
6. My best ideas come while singing (badly) in the shower.
7. I watched too much Pinky and the Brain when I was little, hence the world domination inclinations.
8. I have no tolerance for mean people. Yuck!
9. I have a hard time letting people down.
10. My goofy toddler is my secret weapon.
